Description

MB-2 Alkaline HD Alkaline Cleaning Solution

Heavy-Duty Stone, Tile & Grout Cleaner – Professional-Strength, Biodegradable Formula

Key Features

Super-concentrated formula in a bottle. A clear, high-pH (≈ 12.5) liquid packs deep-cleaning alkalinity that dislodges mineral build-up, ground-in soil and cementitious haze from natural stone, ceramic or porcelain tile, and grout.

Stone-safe chemistry. Unlike acid-based strippers that can etch marble or limestone, MB-2’s alkaline formulation attacks dirt – not calcium carbonate – preserving polish and color integrity.

Biodegradable by design. Formulated with modern, readily biodegradable surfactants to cut environmental load on jobsite discharge.

Concentrate = control. Dial dilution from light film-lift (3 oz/gal) to heavy restoration (8 oz/gal) so you never over-spend or under-perform.

Compatible Surfaces (and Why It Matters)

Natural Stone Floors & Counters

Alkaline pH breaks organic soil without dissolving calcium-based stone, so polished marble, travertine, and limestone emerge streak-free and ready for sealing.

Ceramic & Porcelain Tile

Glazed or unglazed—MB-2 loosens traffic grime that mop detergent can’t touch, restoring original slip coefficient before you apply a maintenance cleaner.

Grout Lines

High viscosity surfactants wick into porous cement grout, suspend soil and rinse clean, leaving an even tone that clients notice.

Not a degreaser. For kitchens or industrial grease removal, pair MB-2 with a true degreasing agent such as Easy Oxy after rinsing.
